Built in 1922, we are one of the oldest hotels in the area. Our entire building is still 100% original; with only cosmetic remodeling done. The building structure is constructed with the iconic Redwood Trees that the area is well known for. The redwood structure is extremely sturdy and pest resistant, and will likely serve us for years to come. For nearly 95 years now, the historic Eureka Inn has attracted numerous well known names. From politicians such as John F. Kennedy and Winston Churchill, to entertainers like Shirley Temple and Humphrey Bogart; even Walt Disney was once a guest of the Eureka Inn.

Yes, Eureka Inn requires a credit card for all online reservations. This guarantees your room until your arrival date. Your credit card will not be charged until you arrive at our inn unless we require prepayment or a deposit prior. Prepayment, deposit and cancellation requirements will be displayed during the online confirmation process.

If your booking was placed through our reservations office or on eurekainn.com, please call our reservation number 1-877-552-3985. Some restrictions may apply for reservations that have special deposit or cancellation rules. If your reservation was made through a third party, such as a travel agent or an online travel site such as Expedia or Booking.com, you will need to contact them directly.

Check-out time – 11 AM (please arrange to check out before this time to avoid charges for another day.)
For lost items, please contact our front desk number or e-mail us through our contact page. If you can do so as soon as you realize your item is missing it is more likely that your item can be found.
If items are found we will try to contact the owner of the item or the person who made the reservation. If we cannot reach the owner or receive a reply within 30 days, the items may be disposed of properly. If items need to be shipped, we are not responsible for shipping cost and will require a prepaid return shipping label.
We do not accommodate pets.
We welcome well trained service animals unless they pose a health/safety risk or prohibited by law.
- All Service Animals must be declared at check-in, because it provides our staff with key information about the occupants of each room.
- We do not charge extra for service animals, however you are responsible for your service animals and damages they caused will not be exempt from damages we would normally charge extra for.
- We may exclude any animal that may pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others or cause continued disturbance to our guests.
